Travel opens a window to the world and to lessons that can’t be found in a textbook. In winter 2015, the NSU Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will offer undergraduate students the opportunity to study in Europe or South America.
These Travel Study courses are an opportunity to sightsee while enjoying a hands-on experience that’s both academic and cultural. Accompanied by college faculty members who are knowledgeable of the location, culture, and subject matter, students earn academic credit through approved coursework.
Consider enrolling in the following winter 2015 courses:
Spain—Comparative Criminal Justice(application due Nov. 14)
London—Medical London: Culture and Context(application due Nov. 20)
Ecuador—Amazonia Cloud Forest Biogeography(application due Dec. 5)
Why Travel Study?
Some students choose to participate in Travel Study trips to examine special topics important to their majors. Others pursue Travel Study to satisfy a curiosity about a foreign culture, learn another language, or explore a different urban or natural environment.
