The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will host a series of three, free workshops designed to teach you all that you need to know about getting into law school—from application to acceptance. The workshops will take place on consecutive Wednesdays, Sept. 7, 14, and 21, from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m., in the Parker Building, room 147A.
The sessions will provide advice on preparing for the LSAT, where to attend law school, how to apply, and how to create personal statements and letters of reference for your applications.
On hand to answer your questions will be Tim Dixon, J.D., associate professor and coordinator of history/politics in the college; Gary Gershman, J.D., Ph.D., associate professor in the college who serves as chair of the legal studies program; and students from the NSU Shepard Broad Law Center and other law schools. Beth Hall, the assistant dean for admissions at NSU’s Law Center, will join the panel at the September 14 workshop.
These workshops are open to all NSU students, and no registration is required to attend. For more information, contact Tim Dixon at (954) 262-8203 or Gary Gershman at (954) 262-8211.
