Discover Scuba Diving
September 1 • 6:00 p.m.
The PADI Discover Scuba experience is a fun and exciting way to try scuba diving and see what it is like to breathe underwater. No prior scuba diving experience is necessary, but you do need to be in good physical health. This is not a certification course.
BEGINNER
Open Water Diver
Term 1: August 28 • Term 2: October 17
This is the entry-level beginning scuba diver course. PADI Open Water Diver Certification is issued upon successful completion of this course.
CONTINUE YOUR DIVING
Scuba Refresher
Begins September 8 at 5:30 p.m.
The Scuba Refresher is a fun and easy way to review dive theory and practice dive skills after a period of inactivity.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Term 1: August 29 • Term 2: October 16
Advanced Open Water Diver is for certified scuba divers who wish to expand their knowledge and improve their diving skills and techniques through a variety of diving environments and activities.
Rescue Diver
Begins November 6
Rescue Diver is an important step in furthering your diving knowledge and experience. This course is tailored for those who are interested in becoming future dive professionals. It also includes DAN’s Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFA Pro) course is comprised of information from the Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries, Neurological Assessment, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries and CPR HCP courses. It meets U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines for workspace CPR and First Aid.
Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty
September 20 • October 19 • November 8
The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Couse provides recreational divers with the knowledge to safely plan and conduct EANx (nitrox) dives up to 40%. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives divers more decompression dive time.
Dan Diving First Aid for Professional Divers
Begins November 18-19
DFA Pro is comprised of information from the Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving injuries, Neurological Assessment, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries and CPR HCP courses.
BECOME A DIVE PRO
Divemaster
Begins August 21
Divemaster candidates will learn the knowledge and skills necessary to transition from a recreational diver to a dive professional. Instructor-level academic knowledge will be developed in diving physics, physiology, decompression, equipment, and environment.
Instructor Development Course
Begins August 21
Instructor candidates learn to increase diving safety by implementing training standards and expertly teaching student divers.
