CAHSS Student is Published in FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin for Third Time

Jay Fortenbery, M.J.A.Jay Fortenbery, M.J.A., doctoral student in the Department of Justice and Human Services in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS,) has published his third article in the FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin. His latest article is titled: “Law Enforcement Organizations: Possibilities and Challenges for the Future,” and may be accessed on the FBI website at https://leb.fbi.gov/

In addition to pursuing his doctoral degree in criminal justice at NSU, Fortenbery holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/safety studies from North Carolina Wesleyan College and a Master of Justice Administration from Methodist University. Fortenbery has an extensive background in law enforcement. He has been the Chief of Police in Edenton, North Carolina for more than seven years and has prior experience that spans several decades.
