Kathleen Harmon, Ph.D., graduate of the doctoral program in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies (DCRS) in the NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS), has published an article in the Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction. Her article, Loss of Productivity: Using the Leonard Study in Support of a Modified Total Cost Calculation, is a case study using two separate methodologies for determining productivity losses.
Harmon is the President of Harmon/York Associates, a consulting firm established in 1983 and specializing in project management and conflict resolution for the construction industry. She has published and presented extensively on conflicts in the construction industry. Harmon has been an adjunct faculty member for CAHSS and for other universities such as the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was honored as an NSU Alum of the Year for CAHSS.
