News stories of children being bullied, harassed, killed in hate crimes, and driven to suicide make many wish we could do something.
But what? So many of us have great intentions, but have no idea how we can help.
Jowharah Sanders, Founder and Executive Director of National Voices for Equality Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE) will come to NSU to give you that answer. A woman with a vision, Jowharah made her dream of helping children a reality and has been working tirelessly changing the lives of children here in South Florida and all over the country.
NVEEE is a locally based non-profit organization that provides support services to youths and families affected by bullying, violence, and suicide, through mentoring, preventative education and communication.
Always in need of help, internship and volunteer opportunities will be made available to compassionate students looking to make a difference in their community!
