Re: Blackboard upgrade and migration to Managed Hosting
There are many key systems at the university. Blackboard is one of the most important systems in teaching and learning at NSU and we continue to innovate and enhance the services that we provide to our students via this market leading learning management system platform.
Our Innovation journey has taken many turns and at the end of the 2012 fall term, we plan to migrate Blackboard into a Managed Hosting environment to improve system performance and stability.
Blackboard will have a new look and feel that includes a comprehensive Help Center complete with how-to videos to provide immediate assistance to our students. The Graduate School of Computer Sciences have led the way, and are conducting all their fall term classes on the new system, having volunteered to be the first school.
We will keep you updated regarding this transition as we move to go live in January 2013.
If you need technical assistance before or after this transition, please contact the NSU Help Desk at help@nova.edu or call (954)262-HELP.
