While keeping our campus spirit up for our building’s grand opening, Palm Beach SGA-SEC invited everyone for a backyard BBQ on Friday, September 16. This event was highly successful with faculty, staff, and a vast variety of students taking the time to leave their classroom walls to mingle for a while. The event started at 12pm and was set to end at 1pm, but the line for burgers hotdogs did not stop until 1:30pm which kept our SGA president and advisor, Melvin Pickens and Corey Campbell, busy at the grill. There was music, a great view of the lake, and ample space to accommodate the huge crowd who came to this event. This boosted our campus morale and we will definitely host this event again in the near future.
