In partnership with the NSU Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, the Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra will present its annual concert of talented, young artists who have earned the prestigious opportunity to perform alongside the orchestra. The concert concludes another successful season for Ars Flores, NSU’s orchestra in residence.

Part of the college’s Resident Series, the concert will feature performances by six winners from the Ars Flores Young-Artists’ Concerto Competition Finals, held this past February at NSU. The following students were chosen by a panel of distinguished judges:
Division I Winners (Ages 14–18)
Arastu Sharma (flute)—Pine Crest School
Charles Comiter (marimba)—Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
Liana Branscome (violin)—homeschooled
Division II Winners (Ages 18–25)
Jason Marcell Gomez (piano)—Florida Gulf Coast University
Emily Nourishirazi (piano)—University of Miami
Aneliya Novikova (piano)—Lynn University’s Conservatory of Music
Free Fun for Little Ones
On the morning of the concert, Ars Flores will also offer Music for Munchkins: a free, 30-minute mini-event geared toward children and their families.
