- Self-Editing with Rebecca Swope
- Your short story or book isn’t ready for submission to an agent or publisher until you’ve put it through a thorough editing process. Learn how to eliminate typos and grammatical errors, and how to recognize and fix plot and structure problems. Rebecca Swope is a former South Florida Sun Sentinel writer and freelance editor. She has taught composition and writing at the community college and high school level.

- Before you start writing, you must decide through which character’s eyes your story will unfold. Learn about the different storytelling viewpoints and how to use them effectively in your novel. - Short fiction is experiencing a resurgence. Learn how to plot and structure a compelling short story, and where to find the current markets for your work.
