NSU will host the annual A Day for Children event on Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library. All activities at the event are free and include health assessments for hearing and balance, vision, speech-language, dental health and more. There will also be nutritional education and social service resources, games, bounce houses, and food. In conjunction with the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Crimestoppers, there will also be fingerprinting and identification cards supplied, and Aveda and Michelle & Marie will provide free haircuts for children.
