Workshops and Winter Art Camp – A Creative Adventure for Everyone
Ceramics, Printmaking Painting, Textiles and more!
Throughout December, studio art classes and events are scheduled for interested students of all ages at the AutoNation Academy of Art & Design at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale.
The new Creative Winter Art Academy, December 19-23, 9am-4pm daily, is offered as a one-week session, available to students in grades 1-12. In addition to the regular art curriculum, students will have the opportunity to work in the new Ceramics, Printmaking and computer studios. Deadline to register is December 12. Workshops in printmaking: encaustic painting, fresco painting, poster design, ready to wear, large format cyanotype, ceramics: plates, platters and bowls, and wheel throwing continue through the middle of January. To register, email Victoria at vbillig@moafl.org or call (954) 262-0230.
Enrollment is currently underway for the Winter 2012 semester, which begins the week of January 16, 2012. Deadline to register is January 6. Classes are offered daytime, afternoon, evening, and on the weekend. About the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale
The Museum of Art I Fort Lauderdale, located at One East Las Olas Boulevard at Andrews Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale, is South Florida’s premiere destination for impressive temporary exhibitions as well as for distinguished permanent collections, including the estate of artist William Glackens, an extensive collection of CoBrA art, and significant holdings of Picasso ceramics.
