This AAUW workshop will address the impact of implicit biases in employment practices, drawing on high-profile cases in the tech industry and the Miami Dolphins. With the rise of Generative AI, recognizing and overcoming these biases is more urgent than ever. The session will provide an overview of implicit bias, explain its origins, and focus on evidence-based strategies to raise awareness and reduce bias. Participants will learn practical tools to create fairer workplaces and classrooms.
