Take me out to the baaaalllllll game!! Take me out to a game!! Port St. Lucie Mets vs. Palm Beach Gardens Cardinals went against each other in the minor league game on Thursday, September 1st at 6pm. Our SEC SGA Palm Beach President, Melvin Pickens, threw the first pitch to start off the game. After everyone grabbed their hotdogs and got settled in to watch the game, the Cardinals’ mascot approached our group to get us more involved. The entertainment staff even convinced one of our students to have a dance-off with the mascot. A faculty member and his family showed up, and even a couple of new students attended the event. This event was a great personal outing and brought us all closer together.
