The Belonging, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (BEDI) Advisory Council will host a Diversity Week, spanning from April 1-7, 2024. This year’s theme, “Exploring the Beauty of Unity in Diversity,“ promises a dynamic exploration into the essence of our vibrant NSU community. The week will be a dedicated celebration acknowledging the diverse perspectives shaping our NSU family. It will be the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking activities designed to foster inclusivity and unity among students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

April 1: Official Opening: Keynote Speaker: Rosetta Lee and Zoom Sessions (open to NSU Faculty/Staff and Student Community)
April 2: Movie Day and Special Film Premiere+Discussion “Open Dialogues: Gen QueerZ” (open to NSU Community and the public)
April 3: Zoom Sessions (open to NSU Faculty/Staff and Student Community)
April 4: Cultural Expressions
April 5: An Edutainment Experience (Live Performance): “To My White Friends Who Know Me,” The Rose and Miniaci Performing Arts Center (open to NSU Community and the public)
April 6: Day of Service (Student Orgs)
April 7: I Belong Diversity Walk (open to NSU Community)
