FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Nova Southeastern Rowing is officially back in action and will make their return to competition for the first time since being reinstated. Under the direction of Head Coach Kim Chavers, Sharks Rowing will look to begin the climb to being the national powerhouse program it once was. The 2024 schedule features five regattas including the Sunshine State Conference Championship.
“This season marks the first races back for Nova Southeastern Rowing, and we’re eager to resume competition. The resilience and dedication of our student-athletes has been remarkable this year, we have a talented group of novice athletes who have built the foundation of reigniting Nova Southeastern Rowing,” stated Chavers. “As a team, we’re committed to the process of growing as a program and are ready to showcase our hard work on the racecourse once again.”The first action for the Sharks will be on Saturday, March 16th, as NSU travels to Stetson to compete in the DeLand Double Duals at the Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center. The following weekend, NSU will take on both Florida Tech and Embry-Riddle in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday, March 23rd.
