Monday, September 3: Happy Labor Day! NSU is CLOSED

Tuesday, September 4: Sharks with a Purpose (SWAP) – FREE Lunch! 12pm – 1pm in Room 2053

  • SWAP is the Community Service organization looking for new members – come learn more about the organization and upcoming volunteer opportunities at this FREE lunch meeting. Please RSVP to SaTampa@nova.edu .

Wednesday, September 5: Treats for the Team Bake Sale, 8am – 1pm, Lobby

  • On-campus food sales will be happening throughout the month, sponsored by NSU Tampa staff. Proceeds will benefit Shark families in need. Cash only, please!

Tuesday, September 11: Tampa Dine & Learn: Frontier Internship Abroad Opportunities, 12pm – 1pm, Room 2014 and GoToTraining: Frontier Dine & Learn

  • Attend this workshop to learn about internship abroad opportunities that combine travelling, work experience and making a contribution to the global community. These can range from medical & healthcare projects to journalism internships. Please e-mail SaTampa@nova.edu to RSVP and specify if you will be attending on-campus or online.

Thursday, September 13: Lymphedema Connect – Physical Therapy Meeting, 5:30pm – 7:30pm, Room 2011

  • Lymphedema Connect is a support group for patients, family members, friends and health care providers who are interested in learning more about lymphedema (the hidden epidemic).   • Dean’s Luncheons: For first-year students in the Dr. Pallavi Patel College of Health Care Sciences: CVS, AA at 11:30am, OTD, DPT at 12:30pm, Atrium
  • NSU Night Out: Game of Thrones Orchestra: 8pm, Amalie Arena
    • The Tampa Student Government Association is planning an epic, dragon-filled NSU Night Out in September! Join us for the Game of Thrones Orchestra at Amalie Arena.
    • Cost is $20 for all NSU students and $50 for a guest. At this time, students can purchase a max of 2 tickets (one for themselves and one for a guest).
