The journey to find NSU’s next Biggest Loser begins this week

Congratulations to our 2011 NSU Biggest Loser participants, who begin their journey this week:

Barbara Iovino; Faculty’ University School

During the next 16 weeks, as part of their weight loss program, they will complete the following:

  • Pre, Mid, & Post-Program Fitness Assessments
  • Pre, Mid, & Post-Program Physicals With Blood Work
  • 3 Weekly Training Sessions With Their Team Trainer
  • Individual Sessions With A “Healthy Lifestyles” Coach
  • Monthly Fitness & Nutrition Education Seminars
  • Monthly “Team Fitness Challenge”
  • One-on-One Sessions with our University Nutritionist.

Upon completion of the program, the person who has lost the greatest percentage of body weight will be crowned the 2011 NSU Biggest Loser!  We will also recognize those who have made significant improvements to the blood pressure, cholesterol, strength, and cardiovascular capacity.
