More than 130 students, parents and family members took part in Family Weekend on NSU’s main campus Oct. 22-24. Coordinated by the Office of First Year and Transitional Programs, the weekend consisted of faculty workshops on Friday afternoon, a Friday evening mixer, Saturday morning coffee with Dean Williams, an entertainment-filled barbeque led by students on Saturday afternoon, as well as an intimate Saturday evening cruise with President Hanbury.
Family members also had a chance to check out the RecPlex with a complimentary weekend membership.
NSU representatives in attendance were Brad Williams, Ed.D., dean of student affairs; William Faulkner, Ph.D., associated dean of student development; Don Rosenblum, Ph.D., dean of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences; and Razor, the NSU mascot.
