NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) will host meetings on September 15, 2015 for undergraduate students interested in joining the NSU Mock Trial Team and for those interested in law school.
For those interested in attending law school, the first meeting, “Applying to Law School,” is an informational seminar scheduled from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015. It is free and open to all students. During this first meeting former NSU undergraduates who are in law school will answer questions about law school and the application process. Faculty members Timothy Dixon, J.D., and G. Nelson Bass, J.D., Ph.D., from the Department of History and Political Science will also answer questions about applying to and succeeding in law school. During the second meeting, which is scheduled from 5:30–7 p.m. September 29, 2015, will feature the Admissions Dean of NSU’s Law School, who will speak with students about law school and the admissions process.
Both meetings will be held in the Parker Building, room 256.
For those interested in joining the NSU Mock Trial Team, a meeting is scheduled from 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015. Information on team meetings, the competition and the year’s trial scenario will be discussed. The team is open to all undergraduate students. The meeting will be in the Parker Building, room 301.
