Ten NSU Sharks traveled to rural St. Thomas Parish, Jamaica as part of the International Summer Experience Service Trip sponsored by the Office of Student Leadership and Civic Engagement. While there, volunteers taught math and reading, and facilitated science experiments for children in three different schools. Participants also took part in a cultural lesson to learn more about Jamaican culture which included a lesson in Patois.
