FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The #15 ranked NSU Softball team extended their win streak to 12 games after securing a doubleheader sweep over Florida Tech on Saturday afternoon from the AD Griffin Sports Complex. Alyssa Drogemuller led the way for NSU, totaling two hits, two runs, and three RBIs across both games.

How it Happened
BOT 1st – With the bases loaded, Madison Fine singled to center field, batting in Alexis Smith and Drogemuller to give the Sharks an early 2-0 lead. Shortly after, Alisha Lanyon joined the action with an RBI single to left field, tacking on another run for NSU. The Shark Surge continued as RBIs from Kerstyn Shaw and Maliyah Lawson extended the Sharks lead to 5-0.
TOP 2nd – The Panthers answered with three runs to cut their deficit to two.
BOT 4th – A sacrifice fly from Gianna Russo and an RBI from Lanyon extended the Sharks lead to 7-3.
BOT 5th – Lawson closed out the Sharks scoring with a run to put NSU up 8-3, ultimately securing the SSC victory for Nova Southeastern.
