Whimsical Wonder of the World Production Arrives at NSU Nov. 19–21

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences Division of Performing and Visual Arts will continue the 2010–2011 Season of the Arts with Wonder of the World, a Premier Series production. Performances will take place Nov. 19–21, in the Black Box Theatre of the college’s Performing and Visual Arts Wing in the Don Taft University Center.

Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, Wonder of the World is an absurd comedy about a young wife who flees her husband and runs off to Niagara Falls in search of the life she thinks she missed out on. Along the way, she crosses paths with a variety of larger-than-life characters who help her on her journey of self-discovery. The play, which opened in Manhattan in 2000, originally starred Sarah Jessica Parker.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 and 20, and at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 20 and 21. Please note: this production is not recommended for audience members under the age of 16.
