Walk Now for Autism!

Register for Team NSU by March 24.

Lace up your walking shoes and help push Team NSU into the coveted No. 1 spot, at the Autism Speaks Walk held on April 9, 2011 at NSU’s main campus in Davie.

The walk is a great opportunity to earn service hours for your student organization through Project SERVE.

If your register by March 24 and post at least $25 in donations in your name on the Team NSU fundraising page, you’ll get a free Team NSU T-shirt. Click here for your registration form and sign up for Team NSU today!

The Autism Speaks Walk typically features live entertainment and various activities at the Alvin Sherman Library quad.

The number of students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder is growing each semester. About 1 out of 100 children – and 1 out of 65 boys – are diagnosed with autism every year. As one of the sponsors of the Autism Speaks Walk, NSU takes pride in taking a stand. Show your Shark Pride: Join Team NSU and invite your friends and family to participate with you at the walk.
