Honggang Yang, Ph.D., dean of NSU’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS) is proud to announce the appointment of Pei-Fen Li, Ph.D., to the faculty at SHSS. Li is assistant professor in the Department of Family Therapy (DFT).

Li received her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia and an M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon, both COAMFTE-Accredited programs. Prior to coming to NSU, Li was an assistant professor of family therapy at the University of Saint Joseph. Her research interests include enhancing individual and relational well-being in different social/cultural contexts, informed by general systems, stress process, and life course theoretical perspectives. Her publications include an article entitled, “Marital Management: Satisfaction and Stressful Events in Taiwanese Couples,” in Family Relations: Interdisciplinary Journal of Applied Family Studies.
