Shark Pride Events

Shark Pride is a campus-wide initiative–named after our mascot, Razor the Shark–that fosters a sense of pride in Nova Southeastern University and greater participation among students, faculty and staff. It’s about building a sense of identity, showing support for the university, getting students involved, and recognizing achievements.

Show your pride in NSU and wear your Shark Pride shirt every Friday. If you don’t have a shirt, get one! Here’s how:

  • Students, faculty, and staff must attend two Shark Pride events to receive a Shark Pride shirt.
  • At Shark Pride-sponsored events, you may sign up to request a shirt and track your attendance.
  • Following your first Shark Pride event, you’ll receive an email inviting you to an upcoming Shark Pride event.
  • After your attendance at two Shark Pride events, you will receive an email indicating where you can pick up your shirt.
  • Don’t forget: Bring your NSU ID!
  • A limited number of Shark Pride shirts will also be distributed at Shark Pride events, on a first come, first serve basis.

  1. I got my BA from Farquhar in 2004 just as Nova’s main campus was beginning to blossom. Hey, there was no University Center then! When I walk between buildings now as a graduate student, I feel surrounded by university life and Shark pride is a huge part of that. I’ve seen more NSU blue and Sharks gear than ever this year. THANKS TO ALL STUDENTS SHOWING SHARK PRIDE!
