The Office of Undergraduate Student Success received the “Program of Distinction” award for the Annual Undergraduate Student Success Fair at the 2014 National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Drive-In Conference. The award is designed to celebrate strong program and service provided throughout the state of Florida.

As a student centered event, the Undergraduate Student Success Fair reconnects students with academic resources, staff and administration in a personable, interactive, entertaining and informative manner. The 2013 USSF continued the tradition by reintroducing over 320 plus undergraduate students to various opportunities and resources.

Last year’s data revealed…… of the three hundred and thirty eight (338) students who attend the fair…….. ninety two (92%) remained in good academic standing……….. Forty-seven percent (47 %) attended a follow up academic success coaching session with OUSS. In essence, the data supports the assertion that students who attended the USSF are more likely to retain and remain in good academic standing throughout the academic year.
