NSU Tampa Cookout

NSU Tampa Cookout

Thank you NSU Tampa students,  Saturday’s Dine and Learn had a fantastic turnout.  More than 100 beef and turkey burgers and packages of hotdogs were cooked and eaten along with all of the chips and available soda and water to wash it all down.  Not only did Dine and Learn Session participants come out, but so did the students in the building attending their regularly scheduled Saturday classes.  Your NSU Tampa SGA is happy to be able to offer these programs and opportunities for convenient food choices throughout each semester.

Thank you also to the cook on the grill, Walter C. Upshaw, your NSU Tampa SGA President.  He along with his other SGA officers, thanks you for enjoying one of the many scheduled activities.  In order to keep events like this a mainstay, keep signing in and showing up.  It helps us let the main campus know what students in Tampa like and need.

For dessert–students, faculty and staff purchased baked goods, which were brought in to help raise funds for our two Relay for Life teams.  There will be more fundraisers for this event to get us to our goal, and we are confident NSU Tampa students will support these efforts too.

If ever there are any questions regarding upcoming events, be sure to contact SGATampa@nova.edu as your SGA members are also always happy to hear from you.

Go Tampa Sharks!
