In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, NSU Orlando hosted an enlivening campus event on October 13th, 2010, for all student, staff, and faculty. Throughout the celebration, the Office of Student Affairs hosted several different cultural experiences. The event included tango dancers in the lobby teaching students how to Argentine tango. During the event, there was traditional Latin music, trivia games, food, and fun. Students were able to try an array of delectable dishes, such as delicious pork, rice and beans, flan, yuca, and plantains. Students went home full and with a sense of Hispanic culture.
