NSU Launches New Website

New NSU Website

The NSU Offices of Innovation and Information Technology, and University Relations are pleased to announce the launch of the new http://www.nova.edu/ website. Improvements include an intuitive navigation and layout, larger image formats, and better segmentation for all NSU audiences. The nova.edu homepage and several top-level pages were updated to the new design with NSU colleges transitioning after this initial roll out. The new website has been designed to allow future students to quickly find the information they need and apply.

Highlighted new features include:

  • A college/school selector at the top of the page.
  • A prominent “Apply Now” button that’s accessible throughout the site to both undergraduate and graduate & professional students.
  • An audience “menu ribbon” in the middle of the homepage for future students, alumni, and a helpful visit campus section featuring the new campus map.
  • Content and resources segmented out for NSU’s undergraduate and graduate student populations.
  • New visually enhanced section for News & Events including the new calendar.
  • A “Featured Degrees and Programs” spotlight which will randomly highlight degrees and programs from all of NSU’s colleges.
  • A social feed at the bottom of the page.
  • A collapsible footer with common NSU Quick Links.
  • The top navigation for pages in the old template will have the same menu items as the new homepage.

Once the site goes live, please take a moment to visit the Using Our Site page which will walk you through the site’s requirements and improvements. Current students, faculty, and staff can find helpful links under “Resources” in the “About NSU” tab in the top navigation or in the Quick Links section, which has been moved to the footer at bottom of the page. This area also contains a number of links to other university resources.

We’re excited to present the new nova.edu to you. We hope you’ll enjoy exploring the site and discovering new updates. Please send feedback and suggestions to webfeedback@nova.edu.
