Nova Southeastern University’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences recently installed the university’s first cloud computing laboratory. Students and faculty use the CLOUDS Laboratory to conduct research in various areas of distributed systems with an emphasis on designing, implementing and evaluating systems, protocols and middleware. Additionally, new and revised courses in cloud computing are running this fall, utilizing the lab.
