FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – This Saturday, Feb. 9, the Nova Southeastern University women’s basketball team will have its game against Florida Southern broadcasted live on national television, as part of the CBS Sports Network Division II Basketball Game of the Week package.
“Our players are excited and honored to represent Nova Southeastern live on national television,” said head coach LeAnn Freeland. “Every collegiate athlete hopes for an opportunity to play in front of a national audience and our team appreciates the chance to showcase their talent on CBS Sports Network. Because our game will be a highly anticipated matchup, I cannot think of a better game to reflect the talent of NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference.”
The Division II Basketball Game of the Week package is now in its seventh year. The partnership between CBS Sports Network and the NCAA provides Division II institutions and conferences with the opportunity for national television coverage for their football and basketball programs.
