The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences recognized the more than 500 undergraduate students who earned the Dean’s List for the fall 2010 semester at a ceremony on Feb. 22 in the Arena at the Don Taft University Center. More than 160 students attended the event, joined by about 250 friends and family members, as well as directors from the college’s academic divisions and various faculty members.

Following the opening remarks by Don Rosenblum, Ph.D., dean of the college, each student being honored walked across the stage and received recognition. To qualify for this accolade, these students have maintained full-time (12 or more credits) enrollment status at NSU, have earned at least a 3.5 GPA for the fall 2010 semester, and received no incomplete grades.

“The faculty and administration share my enthusiasm for recognizing such a strong group of undergraduate students,” Rosenblum said after the event. “The success of those earning the Dean’s List exemplifies the quality of our students and faculty.”

Following the ceremony, the students celebrated their achievements with family and friends at a reception.
