Medical School Alumnus Named FOMA President

Jeffrey S. Grove, D.O., FACOFP, a 1990 NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine alumnus, was inducted as FOMA president by AOA President Karen Nichols, D.O.

Jeffrey S. Grove, D.O., FACOFP, a 1990 Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine alumnus, was named president of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) at the organization’s 108th Annual Convention, which was held from Feb. 24 to 27 at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Weston.  Grove, who is no stranger to leadership positions or awards, has served two terms as the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society president, receiving the society’s Physician of the Year Award in 2002 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2007. He also is a past president of the Florida Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and currently serves as chairman of the American Osteopathic Association’s (AOA) Council on Continuing Medical Education.
