Did you know that OAS, part of the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences, offers students tutoring sessions, workshops on skills and strategies for success, study areas and rooms for reserve, math DVDs for checkout, solution manuals, APA and MLA guidebooks, grammar and study skills handouts, speed-reading software, and testing for credit?
As part of NSU’s Weeks of Welcome, the office will hold an open house for all students on Thursday, Sept. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Parker Building, suite 100. Stop by and learn how OAS can support your success at NSU. Tutors and staff members will be on hand to provide tours and answer any questions you may have. Light refreshments will be served.
The Office of Academic Services is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. For more information, call (954) 262-8350.
