Free Law School Workshops

Are you planning for a career in law? The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will host a series of three, free workshops designed to teach what you need to know about getting into law school—from application to acceptance.

Law School Workshops
Wednesdays | Sept. 5, 12, and 19
5:30–7:00 p.m.
Parker Building | Room 147A

The sessions will provide advice on preparing for the LSAT, where to attend law school, how to apply, and how to create personal statements and letters of reference for your applications. On hand to answer your questions will be Timothy Dixon, J.D., associate professor and coordinator of history/politics at the college; Gary Gershman, J.D., Ph.D., associate professor at the college.

On Sept. 12, current law school students and graduates will also join in the conversation. At the Sept. 19 session, William Perez, assistant dean for admissions at the Shepard Broad Law Center, will be on hand to answer questions.

These workshops are open to all NSU students, and no registration is required to attend. For more information, contact Timothy Dixon at (954) 262-8203 or Gary Gershman at (954) 262-8211.

NSU is an official testing site for the LSAT. For more information or to register, visit http://www.lsac.org/.
