Learn About Law School at Trio of Free Workshops

Law

Are you planning for a career in law? The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences will host a series of three, free workshops designed to teach what you need to know about getting into law school––from application to acceptance.

Law School Workshop Series

Wednesdays | September 3, 10, and 17, 2014
5:30–7:00 p.m.
Parker Building | Room 301

The sessions will provide advice on preparing for the LSAT, where to attend law school, how to apply, and how to create personal statements and letters of reference for your applications. On hand to answer your questions will be NSU’s undergraduate pre-law advisors Timothy Dixon, J.D., associate professor and coordinator of history/politics at the college, and Gary Gershman, J.D., Ph.D., professor at the college, who serves as the chair of the legal studies major.

Current law students will discuss the application process, the law school experience, and answer questions from undergraduates. An admissions representative from NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center will discuss the application process and answer questions.

These workshops are open to all NSU students, and no registration is required to attend. For more information, contact Timothy Dixon at (954) 262-8203 or Gary Gershman at (954) 262-8211.
