Lace Up Your Walking Shoes and Join Team NSU For Walk Now for Autism Speaks

On Saturday, October 26, Nova Southeastern University will once again host Walk Now for Autism Speaks’ annual fundraising walk on the quad in front of the Alvin Sherman Library.  Registration begins at 8:30 am and the walk starts at 10 a.m. This year, George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D, President and CEO of NSU is the 2013 honorary walk chair.

Last year, TEAM NSU was #1 in number of participants and we need your help again this year. The entire NSU family is asked to join Team NSU as we walk to change the future for all who struggle with autism. NSU’s Baudhuin Preschool at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development directly benefits from your participation.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks is a fun-filled, family-friendly event and an important source of funding for autism-related research. Experience the power of thousands united by a single cause by participating in Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Every 11 minutes another family receives the news that their child has an autism spectrum disorder.  More volunteers are needed to join our fight. Whether this is your first walk or your 10th, take the first step and register today!
