Be a part of the FRUVEMENT!

FRUVED-PALOOZA will be held on March 28th noon – 1:00 p.m. in the HPD courtyard by the clock.

Get FRUVED (FRUits and VEgetables) is a nationwide initiative to raise awareness of healthy living among University students. The focus is on improving nutrition through increased fruit and vegetable intake, increasing physical activity, reducing stress and improving sleep quality. As a USDA grant-funded project sponsored by the Master of Science in Nutrition program under the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine, Nova Southeastern University joins with nearly 90 colleges and universities for community-based action, health promotion activities, social media marketing and environmental change on campus through advocacy.

FRUVED-PALOOZA will have multiple stations highlighting nutrition, fitness and stress management. There will be information provided on wellness, healthy eating and snacking, healthy weight, eating healthy on a budget, physical activity programs, fitness challenges, and information on stress management and sleep hygiene.

There will also be plenty of giveaways and raffle prizes. The event is open to ALL NSU students.
