About Quadrivium

Quadrivium: A Journal of Multidisciplinary Scholarship debuted at NSU in 2009. The term “quadrivium” refers to the four arts and sciences studied in the Middle Ages. The NSU Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences has its own quadrivium with its four divisions—Humanities; Math, Science, and Technology; Performing and Visual Arts; and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

The journal’s digital format allows readers to view materials referenced in various entries. Embedded images, videos, and sound clips enhance the collection and make Quadrivium an interactive and engaging experience for readers.

For more information about Quadrivium, contact the editors: Andrea Shaw, M.F.A., Ph.D., associate professor and assistant director of the college’s Division of Humanities, and Eric Mason, Ph.D., assistant professor at the college.
