This year’s festival marks the seventh annual presentation of Student-Directed One-Acts, a variety of short scenes directed by students in the college’s Directing for the Stage course. The dance showcase will feature all-new works developed and performed by students in the college’s Dance Choreography class.
The weekend festival concludes with a concert by students in the Bossa Nova Chorale and the college’s Ensemble and Conducting courses. Enjoy a selection of world music from Iraq, Israel, and Peru, as well as spirituals from the United States, choral music from Germany and the Renaissance, and a piece on Lewis Carroll’s “Jabberwocky” poem.
