Congratulations to the winners of the 2014 STUEY Awards

NSU’s Division of Student Affairs proudly introduces the 15th Annual Student Life Achievement Award winners (most commonly referred to as the STUEYS). The elbow-to-elbow event held on the night of April 2 at the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center recognized 28 students, faculty, staff, corporate partners and alumni who have contributed to building a greater sense of community and campus life.

This year’s Masters of Ceremonies, Jennifer Chia, Luis Perez, Konstantine Lagos, and Danielle McCalla, did an outstanding job entertaining the audience and hosting the show. The STUEYS featured fun video surprises and a student live jazz band on stage accompanied by musical performances from Riff Tides. A VIP Pre-Reception was held at the Carl DeSantis Atrium and a Post-Reception immediately followed the ceremony.

  1. There should be a distance learning student of the year in all categories. I addressed this before, but I never received a response back. It is really unfair due to the fact that the institution has a large number of students in other areas across the country and internationally. Create more parity and please consider that. 🙁

    1. Dear Tia,

thank you for your suggestion. We will definitely take this under advisement. We have an award category for students at regional campuses across the country, but we agree that we should look into having one for students aboard as well. We have forwarded your comment to the office that oversees this program. Someone should be reaching out to you soon. We hope this is helpful. Should you have any other concerns or suggestion, please let us know.
