Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) is pleased to welcome new faculty member, Manuel Salinas, Ph.D. Dr. Salinas received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School before joining CEC’s Department of Engineering and Technology.
Dr. Salinas has published several papers in academic journals relating to heart valve tissue engineering studies. His research interests include vascular tissue engineering, artificial organs, and cardiovascular biomechanics. For the fall 2016 term, Dr. Salinas will be teaching Intro to General Engineering and Engineering Graphics.
