“Bollywood With Attitude” — comprised of NSU students Amrish Ramnaraine, Rajeswari Murugan, Syam Ramnaraine, Monica Shah, and Rachana Talapillia —took first place at the NSU’s Got Talent competition March 29-30, and won the top prize of $1,000.
Second-place winners, Opulent Image Models, won $500; and third-place winners, the Ladies of Mannequin Eyes and Alexander Star, won $250.
Each of these groups will donate their prize money to a student organization on campus.
Contestants in NSU’s Got Talent were judged on originality, creativity, crowd reaction, energy, costumes, use of time, and overall performance.
