Rock and roll has launched revolutions, united cultures, and mirrored and shaped the way we live. Through the decades, it has been the voice of change, pushing new sounds, new looks, and new ways to express individuality and collectiveness. This virtual lecture by Greg Harris, President and CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, will explore original artifacts from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s vast collection with a special emphasis on those that have inspired designer Anna Sui.
A live Zoom Q&A with Greg Harris and Bonnie Clearwater, NSU Art Museum Director and Chief Curator, will follow the talk. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition The World of Anna Sui, on view at NSU Art Museum through October 3, 2021.
