Jacquelyn Browne Ph.D., LCSW, faculty in the Department of Justice and Human Services in NSU’s College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS,) has been invited to provide three workshops in the community on resilience and aging titled Finding Your True North: Aging with Resilience. The workshops will be presented at La Posada, the Mandel Jewish Community Center and the Elder Services Resource Network.
Browne directs the M.A.and the Certificate in Gerontology. Her teaching and research interests include aging and resilience, diversity and aging, and concepts and controversies in aging. Browne believes that developing psychological flexibility is a key in aging well.
